City approves Joint Water Agency bid consideration

A special meeting of the Tuscola City Council was called at 5 p.m. on February 22 with all members present. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss bid results and consideration of bid award for the Tuscola/Arcola Joint Water Agency Main Extension. The council voted to approve the low bid with B&G Drainage in the amount of $821,000 to complete the project. The council additionally approved the authorization of contract execution with successful bidder, B&G Drainage for Arcola/Tuscola Joint Water Agency Main Extension Project. Mayor Dan Kleiss thanked the county board for allocating funds to the project and noted that when the project is completed it will be very beneficial for the people and businesses in the community. 

With no further business to discuss, the council adjourned at 5:07 p.m. until the February 28 regular council meeting.
