A look inside Rainbows & Sunshine Boutique, an upscale consignment boutique for kids in maternity clothing now located in Tuscola.

Rainbows & Sunshine Boutique will soon be your first stop for all kiddo’s clothing in Tuscola. Jessica Montague-Suding has opened an upscale boutique for childrens and maternity clothing at 124 W Sale Street. A soft open was held on Tuesday, January 11 at the shop.
The boutique will feature an array of children’s clothing for boys and girls sizes newborn to 16 and maternity clothes. Since the store operates on consignment, Montague-Suding will be taking appointments for clothes to be dropped off.
Montague-Suding said that the name was inspired because she wanted to bring a unique, happy, and joyful shop to the community. She said that she grew up in the area and has always wanted to open this type of business but has never had the opportunity to do it before now. She said that she “hopes to host a fun environment where you can find quality, gently used clothing at great pricing!”
She explained that the motivation for opening the shop is that being a parent is expensive, and that having kids is expensive, and that when her son was growing up she did a lot of consignment shopping for him, so she realized how helpful it can be. She added that she wanted to give back to the area and provide them a more economical situation as well as a nice and close option for parents and kids.
Rainbows & Sunshine Boutique will be open on Tuesdays from 9 to 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 to 1:30 and 4 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 9 to 1:30 p.m., Fridays from 9 to 1:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10 to 2 p.m. Montague-Suding stated that she may extend some hours due to need that will be posted on Facebook.
