Villa Grove Fire and Rescue Remind Drivers: Keep an Eye out for Emergency Vehicles

On Monday, March 9, construction will begin on the Sycamore St. (Route 130) bridge. Traffic will be down to one lane and controlled by traffic lights at the four-way and the school.

Traffic will likely be backed up in both directions before and after school. Consider coming in from the north to avoid delays.

Please keep an eye out for emergency vehicles responding from the Emergency Services Building on the north end of town. The bridge is still the fastest way for us to respond to the rest of the town.

Construction of the new bridge is expected to take at least one year.
