A luncheon was held in the conference center at the Hilton Garden Inn for Forty Under 40 on October 10th. This was Central Illinois Business Magazine’s 12th class of Forty Under 40 recipients. This salutes young professionals, entrepreneurs, and community service workers. An independent panel of judges chose recipients and their selections were made based on achievement, experience, innovation, leadership and community involvement.
Ainslie Heilich is a tattoo artist and co-owner of Vintage Karma in Tuscola. Ainslie is also an advocate for the LGBT community. Anna Miller is the Executive Director of the Douglas County Museum and advocate for the importance of local history. Both are members of Tuscola Odd Fellows Lodge which hosts Odd Market, does community service projects, and raises money for various charities throughout the year.
