Schwengels to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Phillip and Sharon Schwengel of Tuscola will mark 60 years of marriage Friday, Aug. 23. 

The couple was married Aug. 23, 1959.

Mrs. Schwengel is retired from Carle Clinic where she worked as supervisor of X-ray files; Mr. Schwengel is retired from J M Jones. The couple has two children: Lorri (Ron) Kenny of Champaign and Kenny (Stephanie) Schwengel of Shelbyville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Schwengel will be celebrated with an open house at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at the home of their daughter Lorri and son-in-law Ron Kenny at 2801 Clayton Blvd., Champaign.
