Malcolm Wadland

Services were held on June 10 in Wheaton for Malcolm W. Wadland, 71, who died on June 5, following a lengthy illness.

Mal was born on Dec. 21, 1947, the son of Rev. Wallace and Mary Wadland. The Wadland family lived in Tuscola from 1961 to July of 1970 where Rev. Wadland was minister of the Tuscola Presbyterian Church. He was a 1966 graduate of Tuscola High School and had a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University. Mal and his family lived in the Wheaton area for more than 40 years.

Mal was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Wallace and Mary Wadland and a sister, Evelyn Wadland. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Mary; his sons, Matthew and Michael; a grandson, Jack, of Wheaton; and a sister Marilyn Cook of Las Vegas, Nev.
