TCHS SADD held a meeting to discuss the rest of the year. SADD members also wore their red shirts to the drug assembly in Arcola on Tuesday, April 16. A huge thank you to Nick Gore! After returning back to classes that afternoon, students were asked to sign the “It is NOT worth the risk!” pledge. The pledge states that “it is not worth the risk to participate in underage drinking, tobacco use, or drug use. I respect myself. I do not want anything to get in the way of making memories with my friends and family or living a long and happy life. I pledge to enjoy my activities sober and to encourage my friends to do the same. Driving distracted in any way is not okay. When I drive, I will not drive distracted. I will also not ride in a car with someone who has been drinking or using other drugs. I will remember: It is NOT worth the risk!”

The Tuscola National Honor Society had a “clean-up day” at the high school on Thursday, April 18 from 9:30-11 a.m. Students helped teachers and cleaned the school.
