Last week, Art Club and GSA made Blow Pop Valentine’s and SADD made “You Matter” Valentine’s for every student at TCHS!

Key Club members made Valentine’s for TCHS Teacher after school on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

The FCCLA Section 15 Leadership Conference “Explore the Unexplored.” was held in Charleston on Tuesday, Feb. 12 during FCCLA Week. Almost 115 FCCLA members from Altamont, Arcola, ALAH, Oakland, St. Elmo, Shiloh, Sullivan, and Tuscola participated in workshops including Leadership, Anti-Sexual Assault & Harassment in the Workplace, Scrapbooking Magical Memories, Cookie Decorating, and What You Need to Know About Sexual Violence. Members also made and donated Valentines to the Veterans Hospital as a service project. Your newly elected Section 15 Officers are Caleigh Parsley (Tuscola), Josie Carroll (Shiloh), and Jersey Rodriguez and Emma Walters (Arcola).

Tuscola FFA Officers had a morning meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 12 to finalize FFA Week before the Chapter meeting on Thursday, Feb. 14. Stay tuned to hear all about exciting events during National FFA Week Saturday, Feb. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 23.

Biology II students went on a field trip Friday, Feb. 15 to Eastern University to the FebFest Biology Open House and Science Festival Showcase with Mr. Johnson. Students experienced mini-sessions in all areas of the life sciences during hands-on workshops and more.
