MOPS December meeting to include holiday sweaters, wrapping paper swap

Tuscola area Mothers of Preschoolers, or MOPS, has invited area moms to share some holiday cheer at the next Tuscola MOPS meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church.

During this month’s meeting, attendees are welcome to participate in the ugly Christmas sweater contest. The leadership team also says moms can bring new or partially used rolls of wrapping paper to swap with other moms. The crew will also put together cookie boxes for the volunteers who provide childcare during the meeting.

The next Kids Day Out will 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the First Christian Church of Champaign where they have an indoor playground. Moms and their little ones are invited to pack a lunch and let the kids play.

Tuscola MOPS meets on the second Thursday of the month for fellowship and a lesson. All moms are welcome! For moms of school-aged children, the MomsNext group meets with MOPs. Free childcare and breakfast is provided.
