Letter: Salvation Army team works on kettle drive campaign

Greetings to All,
The Tuscola Salvation Army TEAM is working diligently on our annual Kettle Drive Campaign. This fundraiser not only brings the “Spirit of Christmas” to our town by the sound of the bell ringing at local businesses and on the street corners, but it also gives everyone a chance to participate in a worthy cause and set examples for our younger generations.

The money collected remains in our community to help make a vital difference in the lives of many. The funds are used throughout the year to assist with the following needs just to name a few: groceries, utilities, medical prescriptions, housing needs, and school supplies.

When you, as an individual or a business, partner with the Salvation Army you are truly making a different within our town and the lives of others. Tuscola is a wonderful place to live because we are a caring community. May we come together to help enrich the lives of those who have basic needs that are sometimes hard to meet. No matter the size of your monetary gift, or the amount of time you volunteer to help ring the bell it is all beneficial.

The Salvation Army fund is administered by ERBA. Donations may be sent to this office that will be allocated to this fund:

107 West South Central Ave.

May each and everyone one of us strive to be better at all we say and do, may we care deeply, may we help when we can, may we be kind. May this season of love begin with you!

Merry Christmas and God Bless You Always,

Your Tuscola Salvation Army Unit:
Paul and Susan Wisovaty, Martha Rhoades, Sue Elder, Christina Wooley, Cheryl Beck, and Kathleen Dyer
