Seventh grade East Prairie boys’ basketball is currently 9-3, and Monday the 26th they endured a tough loss to Unity 18-40.
Josiah Hortin made a free throw, Ty Thomason made three points, Will Foltz shot four, Nate Thomason earned six, and Jordan Quinn and Aiden Weaver scored two points each.
The next day, the boys made a comeback beating Mayo 47-8. Austin Cummings excelled with nine, Josiah Hortin earned 15, Jackson Barrett tallied 11, Nate Thomason earned four, and Jordan Quinn added eight points. Again, the seventh grade boys surpassed ALAH 42-37 where Austin Cummings made four points, Josiah Hortin excelled with 19, Jackson Barrett earned six, Will Foltz tallied nine, and Jordan Quinn scored four points.
The eighth Grade East Prairie boys’ basketball team is currently 5-7. They defeated Unity 28-22 on Monday, Nov. 26. At this home game, Easton Cunningham earned nine points, Robert Fancher made four, Colton Musgrave shot three, Boston Broady tallied five, and Jordan Sanchez scored seven points.
The next day, Tuscola played Mayo and won 28-27 in double overtime where Easton Cunningham excelled with 11, Will Cowan shot three, Colton Musgrave and Boston Broady both made two, and Jordan Sanchez totaled 10 points.
Thursday, Nov. 29 these same boys lost to ALAH 31-34, but Easton Cunningham made 15, Robert Fancher and Boston Broady both added two, Colton Musgrave earned eight, and Jordan Sanchez earned four points.
