Letter: Support for Judge Rosenbaum

To the Editor:
I write in support of Judge Randy Rosenbaum’s election to the Circuit Judgeship he now fills by appointment by the Illinois Supreme Court.

I have first-hand knowledge of Judge’s Rosenbaum’s ability, his character and his integrity. As an attorney he was diligent and knowledgeable and he earned the respect of his peers and the judiciary when he was an attorney in the Champaign County Public Defender’s office. His good qualities eventually led to his appointment to lead that office.

His peers who appear before him in court have voted him highly qualified to continue on the bench (most likely by the highest scores of any judge in the state).  He continues to exhibit excellent character, legal ability and integrity.  Randy Rosenbaum is clearly the best choice to continue his tenure as circuit judge in the Sixth Judicial Circuit.

I strongly urge the vote for Randy in the upcoming election.  The citizens of Champaign County and the other five counties in the circuit will be well served by Randy’s continuing service in the judiciary. He will do honor to the profession.
