FFA gives back to local farmers
By Caleigh Parsley
Tuscola FFA and Tuscola First Federal Bank partnered together on Thursday, Sept. 27 to serve farmers at the annual appreciation luncheon. Greg Campbell served his famous pork chops on a stick for farmers with sides to complete a meal. More than 200 Pork Chops were served, and even delivered to local farmers and handed out to grain haulers coming in to the ADM facility in Tuscola, in addition to community members and business leaders in the surrounding area. Tuscola First Federal Bank’s Tim Mooney, Dale Boyer and Ashley Lewis worked very diligently to partner with Tuscola FFA to pull off the event on such short notice. Plans will be made in the future to show the appreciation both entities have for the farmers in their community working so hard to feed the world.
