Champagnes wed Sept. 1

Rachel A. Kleiss, 36, married Philip E. Champagne, 39, on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, in Arcola. The wedding was officiated by the bride’s cousin, Ryan Kleiss.

The bride is the daughter of Pat Morrow, Camargo, and the late Marc ‘Carlos’ Kleiss. She was walked down the aisle, by her brother, Rob Kleiss, and her son, Jalen Southard. She is a graduate of Tuscola High School and Parkland College.

The groom is the son of the late Maria (Wilkerson) Champagne and Roger and Charlene Champagne, Elephant Butte, N.M. He is a graduate of Villa Grove High School. He served four years in the United States Navy.

After the wedding, they traveled to Negril, Jamaica, for their honeymoon. Phil is a Conductor for Union Pacific Railroad, in Villa Grove. Rachel is a nurse at Tuscola Healthcare Center. They reside in Villa Grove, with their four children: Zach, Keagan, Jalen, and Carson and their Siberian husky, Dawson.
