The seventh and eighth grade girls’ basketball teams kicked off the season with wins over Bement on Thursday, Sept. 13.
“It was good to get a game in and see what we need to work on,” Coach Beth Pugh said. “I was very happy with the effort by all girls. We have been telling the girls in practice that we need to work harder and smarter on defense and they saw that last night.”
