Oppermans to celebrate 40th wedding anniversary

Dennis and Maribeth Opperman of Tuscola will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.

Dennis Opperman and the former Maribeth Hartry were married on Aug. 12, 1978 at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Lincoln.

They have two children: Douglas (Katrina) Opperman of Springfield and Bradley (Laurie) Opperman of Mahomet.

Mr. Opperman retired from Monsanto in 2015 and is currently a Stone Seed Dealer.

Mrs. Opperman retired as a teacher from the Tuscola School District in 2011.
