Bryce and Jessica Borchers of Utica, Neb., have announced the birth of their son.

Broderick William Borchers was born at 1:21 a.m. on May 10, 2018 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb. Brody weighed 8 pounds and was 19 3/4 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Jon and Cindy Surma of Tuscola. Paternal grandparents are Bruce and Donna Borchers of Lincoln, Neb.

Maternal great-grandparents are Jean Surma of Tuscola, and Bob and Ruth Williamson of Macon, Mo. Paternal great-grandparent is Ruth Borchers of Seward, Neb.

Brody was welcomed home by big sister Stella, 2 1/2.
