DAR daytrips to visit the Lincolns

Members of the Stephen A. Douglas Chapter, NSDAR took a whole day to spend a few hours at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in early May and had their picture taken with the Lincolns! It was a leisurely day to read everything we wanted to read, to watch “Lincoln’s Eyes” (special effects theater) and the “Ghosts of the Library” in the Holavision Theater, and to view the newest exhibit “From Illinois to the White House”  (Lincoln, Grant, Reagan, Obama). Great way to celebrate The Illinois Bicentennial.
