Around the Halls

Monday, Feb. 26 all spring sport practices–girls’ and boys’ track and field, softball, and baseball–started every day after school.

Wednesday, Feb. 28 FFA had their monthly meeting discussing upcoming events.

Also, Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. was 8th Grade Orientation at the high school. The following club members talked in an effort to recruit the incoming students: Scholastic Bowl, Student Council, SADD – Students Against Destructive Decisions, NHS – National Honors Society, FCCLA – Family, Career And Community Leaders of America, FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America, FFA, Art Club, GSA – Gay Straight Alliance, and Drama Club. After the members talked, Mrs. Lemay gave an update on medical related papers, then Mr. Bozarth talked to the children and parents’ about high school and their classes that they signed up for Friday, March 2.

Hack Club directed by Ms. Holmes has their next cyber competition Friday, April 13 at ISU. The following students are in Hack Club: Dillan Alcorn, Aiden Beachy, Matthew Bennett, Braden Boyer, Alex Brooks, Lucas Burnett, Dustin Hale, Lukas Hastings, Marcus Holmes, Colin Lewis, Dustin Lough, Paul Nau, Zachary Pankau, William Penne, Colton Postlewait, Liam Raney, Graham Rodmaker, Brianna Shanks, Parker Taylor, Alex Vincent, Joseph Wells, Colby Wilson, and Kyle Zimmer.
