Jones retires after career as registered nurse

The Douglas County Health Department would like to announce the upcoming retirement of Jane Jones, RN. Jane has been involved in many aspects of nursing throughout her career serving at Carle, in a local physician’s office, and at Jarman Hospital while concluding with 11 years of service at the Douglas County Health Department.

While at the health department, her duties included immunizations, communicable diseases, diabetes education, Medical Reserve Corp, and the Caregiver Support Group. In celebration of her many years of caring, there will be a reception on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Douglas County Health Department. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and all are welcome. Please come and wish Jane well in her new adventures.
